As you relax in our Salt Room, you will inhale the micro-particles of dry pharmaceutical grade salt deep into your lungs. The process heals you by absorbing bacteria and pollutants, and eliminates the mucus and inflammation found in your body. This allows oxygen to travel through your airways, making it easier for you to breathe. Overall, Halotherapy results in the subsidence of your symptoms, in addition to you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Our Salt Rooms are designed to provide a clean, comfortable, and curative environment, where you will experience the healing benefits. Natural & Dry Pharmaceutical Grade Salt is infused into the air accompanied with the Himalayan Salt Lamps, while our selection of Meditative Music plays for further relaxation.
You are requested to make an appointment for a Salt Therapy session in advance. Our sessions are 45 minutes long. For your First Session, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment for a Consultation. After you have had an Initial Consultation, it is recommended that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. So we can ensure a calm space for you when your session begins.
Depending on the severity and symptoms of your condition, you may feel a mild tickle in your throat or an increase in cough during the session. This is a result of your body clearing mucus, allergens and bacteria when your respiratory airways expand.
The temperature in our salt rooms is kept cool to resemble the micro-climate of a salt cave. Blankets can be requested for your comfort. Salt Particles are circulated throughout the room, which may look like dust floating through the air when the light is shined. However, the salt particles may settle on your clothes, so wearing light-colored clothing is recommended.
The needs of adults and children are very different during Salt Therapy. While adults prefer a quiet environment with soothing music to relax, read or sleep, children are happy to play with toys. To satisfy both needs, we have 3 dedicated salt rooms – one for children and one for adults. The private room is a reserve for those that suffer severe skin condition.
Our Family Room is specifically designed for infants and children up to 12 years of age. While receiving therapeutic treatment, kids enjoy playing with the salt-covered floors like sand on a beach.
